Today Saturday 10th September 2022 sees the launch of CADFA’s new
BUILDING HOPE project
at a conference at Al Quds University, Abu Dis. This will be followed by a series of launch meetings in the UK in October. Building Hope will draw on the success of our previous programmes,
- extending the ‘Beyond the Checkpoints’ projects in Palestine that give young people the opportunity to explore their country and develop the skills to talk out about their lives, and
- increasing the number of visits from Palestine to the UK that are so powerful in building awareness in the UK of the human rights situation in Palestine and encouraging people to work for human rights.
We will be working with new partners across Britain to make regular visits from Palestinian students, women, youth and others across the country. If your group or organisation (or even you as an individual) would like to be involved, do let us know. We are looking for helpers, fundraisers and sponsors for this project and would love to hear from you, particularly before the Building Hope project launches across the country in October.
A friend who also lives in Yorkshire sent me the link to your website. I am interested in your Building Hope project, and could help if needed. I am a retired youth worker. I lived and worked in East Jerusalem for three months five years ago, with the EAPPI (human rights observer).
