This year divided into two clear halves. In some ways, it was consistent – through the first part, we saw the Israeli violations on the Palestinians build and worsen as they had been doing for years, while in the UK, CADFA had a firm model of activities and strong plans for the second half of the year. But Hamas attacks on 7th October were followed by Israel’s attacks on Gaza and escalation in the West Bank on a scale we could not have imagined. Writing in May 2024, anything before October 2023 seems to be years ago.
