Virtual visit to Palestine August 2020

We will take you on a Zoom visit to places across Palestine, so you can see places, meet people and learn about the place, the people and the human rights issues.  This is a virtual CADFA visit, so you will be “based” in Abu Dis but have excursions across the West Bank!

Our programme will be 8 days, though each of these will be about 3 days apart as you won’t be physically in Palestine – and each of the days will in fact be one evening with two sessions. We will start as we always do with an induction to the ‘visit’, continue with interesting talks, pictures and discussion led by CADFA’s friends in Palestine, and end with a discussion on what is to be done.

Aims of the programme

• We hope this will be a way to keep some of the interesting, energetic features of a CADFA visit at a time that we can’t do the actual visits that we have done 3 or 4 times a year since 2005
• To help to keep a focus on Palestine though other international crises are hiding it
• To introduce a new group of people to Palestine – the place, the people and the human rights issues
• To encourage people to be active on human rights issues in Palestine
